Marriage After Baby.

Finding each other again after becoming parents.

Having children changes a relationship — sometimes quietly, sometimes dramatically. And it's not only the newborn months. Many couples realize months or even years after having kids that they've become co-parents more than partners. Marriage After Baby is designed to help couples navigate that shift and find their way back to each other.

Who This Is For

Has parenthood changed your marriage?

This pathway isn't limited to the newborn period. It's for any couple who recognizes that becoming parents has reshaped their relationship.

You've lost the connection you used to have.
Your world has become almost entirely about parenting.
Exhaustion has become the default state of the relationship.
Intimacy has changed or faded.
Resentment has built up around who does what.
You and your spouse have different parenting expectations.
There's little time left for each other.
Your identity — individually and as a couple — has shifted.
You feel more like co-parents than spouses.
The Approach

How Marriage After Baby Works

Marriage After Baby is being designed as a structured period of counselling, education and practical work — followed by planned check-ins once the couple has had time to apply what they've discussed. The clinical details are still being finalized.

01

Understand what's changed

Make sense of how the shift from partners to parents has affected connection, roles and identity.

02

Address the strain

Work through resentment, exhaustion, division of responsibilities and different expectations where they're present.

03

Practical tools for real life

Learn approaches that fit the reality of parenting — not idealized advice that ignores how tired you are.

04

Time to apply it

Space between sessions to practise in the actual rhythm of family life.

05

Planned check-ins

Return to review what's shifting and what still needs attention.

Parenthood doesn't pause for counselling. That's why the work includes time to practise and planned follow-up — so the tools get tested in real family life, not just in session.
