After a Rupture • Virtual

Marriage Recovery.

Support after betrayal, loss of trust or serious rupture.

Some ruptures go beyond everyday disconnection. Infidelity, betrayal, a serious loss of trust, prolonged disconnection or the consideration of separation can leave a marriage in a fragile place. Marriage Recovery is structured marriage counselling for couples navigating that kind of rupture — paced to your circumstances, not a fixed package.

Who This Is For

When the rupture is significant

Marriage Recovery is for marriages that have experienced a serious rupture — not the everyday drift that Marriage Reset addresses.

Infidelity or an affair.
Betrayal of trust.
A serious loss of trust.
Prolonged disconnection.
Major recurring conflict that hasn't resolved.
Consideration of separation.
Another significant relational rupture.
The Approach

How Marriage Recovery Works

Marriage Recovery is not a short, fixed package. The pace and duration depend on the couple's circumstances. Infidelity and betrayal can't be repaired on a predetermined schedule. The work below is a broad shape of the process, not guaranteed stages or outcomes.

01

Stabilizing

Creating enough safety and structure to begin the work — especially in the immediate aftermath of a rupture.

02

Understanding what happened

Making sense of the rupture, the context around it, and how the marriage reached this point.

03

Addressing the impact

Working through the hurt, anger, confusion and grief that a betrayal or rupture creates.

04

Rebuilding trust where possible

Exploring what it would take for trust to be rebuilt — honestly, and at a pace that fits the situation.

05

Developing new patterns

Building different ways of communicating and relating that can support the marriage going forward.

06

Follow-up and maintenance

Planned check-ins once the initial work is underway, to review what's holding and what still needs attention.

These steps describe the general shape of the work, not a guaranteed sequence or outcome. Every situation is different, and counselling here moves at a pace that fits the couple's circumstances.
